We have been making efforts to purchase land for an integrated shelter complex. While our efforts to acquire the entire land are ongoing, we have managed to secure a portion of it.

The foundation stone for the building has been laid on the acquired land.

Before starting the construction work, we are seeking resources for water supply and the installation of perimeter fencing.

What we do?

Our journey began with a humble mission to serve a single meal to those in need, consisting of rice, curry, a vegetable dish, rasam, a water bottle, and even a cup of tea. Today, thanks to the overwhelming support of our cherished donors, we are proud to announce that we now provide three-course meals, including Tiffin, Lunch and Dinner. This transformation would not have been possible without the compassion and generosity of our supporters.

Our work extends beyond providing meals. Working with a team of committed people, EEGA aim has been to secure integrated development through people’s participation. Our efforts have developed lasting association with government, non-government and corporate organizations as also with the communities and groups with whom we have worked.

Feeding the Homeless and Abandoned

Daily Food distributes to homeless people, poor families living on streets and abandoned aged people. Every time we feed the poor, the happiness on their faces is beyond description. Our motto is to feed every homeless, who carry their hungry stomach to the bed.

Shelter Care for the Homeless and Abandoned

EEGA actively involves rescuing aged, impoverished and homeless especially women live on streets and provide them with permanent shelter care. It provides shelter with love, mentoring, and most importantly continuous health care opportunities in dignified ways.

Migrant Children's

EEGA provides support for the migrant children through a holistic approach with basic needs, opportunities for personal development, enrichment activities, and access to legal and social services, thus easing the migrant children and their families’ transition to a new life.

Rural Children's

EEGA Trust establishes evening centers in rural areas, offering children opportunities for participation in sports, arts, and discussions. These activities enhance their skills, promote their rights, and build leadership qualities, creating a safe and supportive community environment.

Protection and Empowerment for Working Women

EEGA Trust is dedicated to helping working women in Erode and other nearby district understand and comply with workplace laws. We offer a concise overview of the employment-related rights available to women in the industrial sector. Our goal is to ensure that women are well-informed about their legal protections and entitlements, enabling them to work safely and confidently.

EEGA TRUST

Recognizing that the welfare of the homeless, abandoned, and children primarily depends on their community, EEGA Trust has initiated community development programs. By actively involving community sectors and promoting community-based interventions, EEGA fosters social development. Building on this experience, EEGA is expanding its development activities to reach and support more marginalized and underprivileged people in the Nagapattinam, Erode, and Madurai districts.
